So 7mm is pretty mediocre overall - obviously if you shoot them in the face it'll do fine, but if you aim for any armored bits they can tank nearly every round you throw at them. Damage heavy buckshot (any buckshot that's not flechette) excels at damage to unarmored areas (think legs), so make sure you know what your ammo is good at before you use it

You can take a LONG time to flank, people very frequently stay in the vicinity they were engaged - set up ambushes for their likely exits, camp bodies that you've killed, try to push them certain directions using nades. If you're good with PvP, you can farm EXP faster by farming factory (10k on a good run) or Labs (15-30k on a good run). Questing is usually fastest if PvP isn't your strongsuit, and gives some variety to keep things interesting

My advice to everyone is pretty much the same, you have two options.

1. Check everything using https://tarkov-market.com/ and the wiki links it provides for quest and hideout requirement and for flea prices. It's otherwise impossible to know, without significant experience or asking other people every time, what you'll need anytime soon, or what sells for substantial money to other players. Then you can decide what things you'll need soon enough, and which items sell for enough, to hold onto. This is quicker in the long run and more profitable, but is tedious and more annoying in my opinion.
2. Check what you'll need right now, check what hideout upgrades you could do if you simply had the right items, and what quests you could do. Keep those things that you need at the moment, sell most everything else as space is quite valuable. You'll figure out what you need as you get to things, and learn through experience. It will be slower in the long run as you'll have to look for things you may have sold, but not as hoardy and you spend more time in raid.
