Thoughs on 5.45x39 and 7.62x54R ammo that actually goes through armor available at low levels? i.e. ~lvl10 ? I mainly run shitlord weapons - pp91 against scavs (cheap runs) and mosin (because I love that weapon). but in the case of mosin, the "best" I can get consistently (by buying it) is LPS, which lacks a bit of punch.

I got a bit of a "old player, new patch" problem. I started Tarkov in Reserve patch("the good old days") and the game was pretty great, was still learning a lot from my friends.

Fast forward to today, BSG has added a ton of new hinderances or nerfs to gameplay mechanics that limit the movement of PMCs severely early game with each patch(ergo nerfs, recoil nerfs, stamina nerfs, strength nerfs).

With this current wipe, I am lvl 20 and had a few week break and now evaluating wtf I want to do. My issue mainly comes in the form of getting a gun that I can work with easily and also figuring out if I can somehow get a basic loadout of helm+headset, rig+armor/armor rig and backpack without instantly being overweight, thus pretty much destroying my ergonomics on any gun.

I really want to play Tarkov a lot, watching vids from creators like Lvndmark where he plays a completely different game because he isn't bound by low level stats that completely kill a fast paced style I use in other FPS games. Stuff like using any optic that isn't 1x seems completely dead at low level for me due to the ergonomics being so horrendous on my end, vs. it being fluid and light for people with high stats. The 2x Prism scope used to be my favourite, but it feels so unusable nowadays since the FoV is reduced by an insane amount if I move sideways around a corner.

I've had to resort to being just a rat in a bush for most of the early game this wipe and not much aggression because it just feels like my PMC has a few brownies in his pants.

At what point does it become better or should I just try to lighten the loadout somehow to not be overweight instantly without any loot?
