The armor you get from scavs (which they spawn with) can be good enough to protect you against scavs, but generally not pmcs. Though as a scav you can find class 4, 5 and 6 armor in caches quite often

anyone has some tips how to force myself into hipfiring? I am running offline raids on factory rn, in most fps games I used scopes but you lose so much at close range in tarkov if you scope

Offline raids on factory is best. Just keep yourself from ADS'ing, unbind if you have to lol. Laser helps at first, then you can start to practice without it
