Ok, so here's a scenario.. I was on interchange, moving up the west road, alternating between running, walking and scoping around to make sure it's clear. By scav camp, I came face to face with a guy on the road (I was in the ditch) who was crouched, and seemed to be waiting for me. I engaged him first but lost the engagement. I'm guessing he heard me run. I had a quest to just extract so was just heading to railway.. not sure what I can learn from that, besides that being in the ditch gives you less visibility, and running makes noise so maybe I should have walked through there. But then I would have been way more exposed for much longer

Right. I wouldn't have a tunel vision on them, since you only have 3-4 good uses before you hit the diminishing factor (it starts after first use, but after 3rd the gain starts to be miniscule), just make sure that you keep an eye on this option when you're in raid and make sure that you have enough money on you.

Even if you don't have docs/space in your pouch you can always take 5k (or 7k for customs) in your pocket, it's not much, especially compared to the rest of your gear, and just use it when you have the opportunity.

Woods I always bring moeny if I remember because you get outskirts + bridge vex fairly often and it’s easier to hit the v ex a lot of the time

Only issue is that if someone gets there before you, gotta walk all across the map

Find positions overlooking the few main pathways people take to the resort. The radio tower (not the one with the building) is a decent one to use for instance if you spawn close to it. Basically any long sightlines looking at resort should be good.

A couple of cheeky ones: Roof of resort can work, though you are exposed. Another is behind the fence of admin at resort looking into the windows of the wings, should be about 100m (this one is hard to use consistently, but you can get lucky with it). Use a rangefinder juuuust in case too, to make sure you got the range in check!

It's doable. Personally I use mouse3 and tilde key, and I rebind main action to mouse3 based on my gun setup. If I have a variable optic I bind that to mouse3. If I have a setup similar to bravo/hamr I'll bind swap to mouse3. If I'll be using both actions I will bind changing zoom to mouse3 and changing sights to tilde because the latter comes less often and usually in anticipation.
