just a question, i recently got into tarkov and i noticed something weird. i had been watching gameplay on yt and twitch and it seemed all fun and good, but movement feels really clunky and heavy in game? and my weapons sway a lot too.
are there settings i missed or is that just what the start is like and ive never seen it live?

you can level up character skills and jump higher/move faster, have more stamina etc

the heavier you are makes it even worse

as for the gun, you probably have low ergo stats on the weapon, you need attachments to make the gun better which is also hard to afford as a new player

It would really devalue certain items, and you can just flip it. If I list my FIR marked key for several other keys, you could simply trade your 1/25 keys for my new one. Lot of logistical problems that screw with the market if you don't make FIR mandatory

The way karma seems to work is that someone has to lose karma in order for someone else to gain it, so because just injuring a scav doesn't cause a loss of karma you gain none for killing in defense. Not perfect, but prevents people from being able to jump in front of your bullets and then kill you for karma farming
