Yea so what I did (just started today) was run scav once and on successful extract I take that gear and use my PMC for my scav runs now using that gear until i die
When I die... not sure what ill do
Maybe another scav run to get gear or maybe ill just continue scaving naked and use gear I find like that
But my normal runs for questing I dont do hardcore so I can use the Flea and everything

Levels your skills, you dont have much to lose, and you get first dibs on items but i guess you need to be more careful
