Personally I used Factory to practice pvp and get more confident in engagements. Otherwise map knowledge, positioning, not re-peeking the same angles etc..
Also, dont underestimate the power of 1-2 nades, as they can buy you the time you need to reposition or push a location.. or run away

A decent rule of thumb is, if what you're about to do is giving you a 50% chance or less to win/survive, then look for a better option. If there are no better option to take on the fight, then (if you can) running away is usually the answer - perhaps doing a long flank to reset the engagement. Its going to take some dying to figure out exactly what works and what doesn't
