A lot of people seem to be having the same issue right now - Only real thing you can do is contact support to see if they can sort it out, if it doesn't happen automatically. Support can be a bit slow sometimes though

Id go on a PMC before I try to scav again when I get that bug; then my scav tends to work the next try
If you Alt + f4, game will open back up to where that screenshot left off
it will say 'Profile data loading' for the equivalent amount of time as you would have been DC'd anyways.

Eat and drink in raid. Make sure you're restoring energy or hydration. Do it at a 3-5 minute interval and you'll be levelling pretty fast.
To do it a bit more passively, just bring with you a drink or food item into the raid to restore hydr/energy instead of in stash, then eat/drink stuff you find along the way (except moonshine or other valuable consumables)

I don't know the exact math behind it, but I tested drinking like 50% of a water while getting the full benefit from it, and it capped my metabolism xp gain. At that point I didn't care enough to continue testing, as it levels so fast anyways

Buckshots against armour are about destroying them, meaning that you pretty much have to fully destroy it before you start to damage whatever is underneath.
Ideally you would go for leg-meta instead to kill them faster

Have a map alongside with you, then run about in offline mode to learn where the extracts are, and/or watch a video guiding you through the map
Oh and practicing as a scav can help, though some of the extracts are usually different then.
