I mean if you're under geared & faceroll into other PMCs, you'll likely lose most fights. When you figure out where people spawn & route towards, it gives you a lot more options for engaging them.

If you're walking around aimlessly other people will probably have the drop on you, which is a death sentence. I'm still new myself, but once you learn a map well enough the game changes a lot.
