focus on oli, auchan and ikea, then you'll quickly understand how 1st and 2nd floor are structured. The parking is still a maze, but you'll get used to it. The 3 big stores are really the spine of the map. You learn about other stores when you've got shit to do there. I don't think anybody cares about the avokado for instance.

For a beginner, the path you've described (oli/techlight/techno) is really dangerous and not very rewarding imo, unless you're trying to get your gas analysers

You could scav there, to get used to the map and its exits while having less chances of meeting PMCs (though you'll risk getting killed/camped at exfils)
