I think thats the problem. When you first installed the game, you had it on the SSD is my guess, and that somehow messed it up. Ive seen reports about this before. Installing on boot drive fixes it.

Crafting is the one reducing craft time, but it does not effect BTC as well.

Go to the compound if you want to cheekily kill one or multiple to take the rogue gear, which is very profitable if you can pull it off - also giving you free access to roam about if you clear an area. Here is my number 1 tip for having a lot more space to work with. Sell any item that you can currently rebuy for cheap. Specifically ammo/mags. Look at the PST GZH ammo (and their mags), check their price from vendor and you'll notice how cheap they really are - meaning that you dont need to hold on to them, you just buy them as you need more.
Only save "good" ammo and "rare" magazines (of which you have none atm).

To get you going with what I was getting at - look at your PST ammo. Go to Mechanic and check its price. Realize they are dirt cheap and there is no reason to hold them in your inventory as you can just buy them on demand.
Rinse repeat for any piece of gear you have.

If you cant get a full team together, I'd suggest putting the quest item in safe storage (quest screen allows you to do that), and a few practise runs on factory, where you learn some spawns and the best ways to deal with them. If you get a good spawn with the quest item, you can run straight to the objective and plant it. Once you are fully ready, bring your best gear and pray.

Its not that important anyways, as they added 0.01 from extracting as a scav, more than making up from the loss of no longer gaining karma from self defence.
Also, people would bait others to shoot them by shooting next to someone, so that they could kill their victim for karma - doing the opposite of what the system is intending to promote

You can sell PRS/T/US as they are just garbage. You could try and run PP ammo in it, but dont expect to go through anything higher than tier 3 armor reliably. Gonna take a bit of spray for tier 4, and 5/6 is just a no go

Someone probably spawned on the west side, popped an sj6 and sprinted straight for it. High lvl strength also increases movement speed.
Its Possible that you got beat to it, but assuming you had a full sprint to the escalator, you should've at least heard him go up in front

Its pretty hard to do quest at this point specially customs ones which seem to be the majority of mine. All the quest places are in high danger areas where I will always be at a disadvantage. My best hope is well placed mosin shots or sks hits. If im lucky I get the mp 153 spam kill. Just hard to do quest when I am getting laid out by dudes running 7.62 BP, 7.62 M61, and M855A1 ammo all the time. Im assuming this is the ammo they use because it is what I find when I do get a lucky kill
