Now I'm stuck on the quest for Prapor where you have to scope out the USEC camp and the Conoy. I've lost easily a million roubles in gear and insruance and whatnot trying to do these quests. Can anyone help me? Maybe run a duo with me so I've got some backup?

How are you running it? If you go in completely nude + an SKS and like 20 shots and just do the quest you should be able to crash through it pretty fast.

Typically I run a lvl 3 or up helmet, either a paca or sometimes a lvl 3-4 armor, and I was running SKS + Makarov or VEPR + Makarov and stuff like that. And always the most expensive ammo I have access to.

For woods quests just go in with an SKS and iron sights, imo. Close range it kills any PMC and long range you're going to die to a sniper anyway. Will save yourself some $$$

Word. Thanks for the advice, man. Last couple runs I've just been taking a glock with a couple spare mags full of pst gzh and a lvl 3 helmet and a paca and a small bag and a small rig and I've had good runs with that and lots of scav kills but no extracts unfortunately.

I feel you. Run Shotguns on Factory and SKS builds on woods, don't bother with armor or helmets and you'll get your quests done within maybe 50-70k of weapons (usually for woods I get it done on the first round, factory is much harder even with a shotty)

I never bring a paca or any armor below level 4 into woods. Its not worth it. Just go naked. Low level armor mostly protects from close range scavs and pistols, which you dont see much on woods

So you will get it back even if you die or survive depending on if someone extracts with it, Also with metabolism I heard that your skill increases then decreases back to what to what it was when you use food and drink out of raid so, maybe just do it in raid for now?

@umbral latch Factory is p good to practice pvp, its a super small map so ez to learn. Deff do an offline raid first w scavs on high so you can practice a bit. I'd recommend customs first bc its a decent sized map w decent loot and a few starting quests are there, it'll be a good first step into the game

3/20 is really not that bad for a beginner. I definitely have had periods of "I simply cannot survive a raid. If a PMC sees me I'm dead." but yeah do scav runs, play slow, focus on surviving and it will click
personally i recommend getting real confident at killing scavs and avoiding PMCs until you git good. easier said than done, but scav hunting can get you used to the guns real quick and how to not get your cheeks clapt

VOMZ from jeager is the cheapest scope i know of, its not great but it works
if your ok with spending a bit the elcan is my personal scope
but just a heads up the stm isnt the best since 9mm doesnt perform well at range and its semi auto so its not very good at close range either
