Personally I think interchange and shoreline. They are semi straight forward, and you will always have one of 2 spawns every raid (as a PMC)

but most people say customs and factory. Factory is good if you want to learn combat, because its a CQB map where you WILL get into combat

My advice to everyone is pretty much the same, you have two options.

  1. Check everything on the wiki. It's otherwise impossible to know, without significant experience or asking people every time, what you'll need anytime soon. Then you can decide what things you'll need soon enough to hold onto. This is quicker, but more annoying in my opinion.
  2. Check what you'll need right now, check what hideout upgrades you could do if you simply had the right items, and what quests you could do. Keep those things that you need at the moment, sell most everything else as space is quite valuable. You'll figure out what you need as you get to things, and learn through experience. It will be slower but not as hoardy.

Something to heal basic damage (AI-2 or another medkit), something for light bleeds (bandage), something for heavy bleeds (esmarch tourniquet), something for a fracture (splint), and something for pain (painkillers). If you're able, try to bring a surgery kit for blacked out limbs (CMS or Surv12 kit).

Guys I'm having a serious issue with newly picked up weapons. So I just looted the AKM and as you can see in the video the gun would not function at all for like 5 seconds or more after switching to it for the first time after equipping it. Cant fire, cant toggle tactical, cant really do anything. this happens with all picked up weapons for the first 10 seconds or more. You can see that I was panic pressing for the weapon to fire and then it finally did. I couldn't even get to toggle my tactical and switch fire modes. Is this a server related issue? has anyone else faced this problem?
