as a scav, I run inside through the hottest areas like Kiba, or through Oli for hideout upgrade materials. If you want to hit stashes outside, I would recommend using the PMC, its usually pretty safe as long as you keep your head up looking for danger

if you kill scavs as a scav you will lose rep with fence, which will increase the cooldown on your scav run availability. and its annoying as fuck to player scavs when another player scav kills them

It depends on your own morality and desperation for virtual gear, lol. Basically the karma effects the scav reset timer, price for PMC car extracts, and starting gear of the scav (generally).

I know scav runs = money, but PMC runs can get just as much or more if you play carefully. But the karma shouldn't equal happiness with the game, I guess. Maybe to some it does.

I'm in the same spot, killed santa a few times on accident but the karma will go back up over time.

Scaving in factory and extracting especially with good rep will make you more roubles/hour than pmc money run

You can still PMC run factory with santa in it. I've done it maybe 30 times this week and killed him once accidentally

most scavs spawn in the later part of the raid, most PMCs are out by then, but you could catch one around

Just have to be more careful, or try another map with more space to avoid santa or spot him farther away

• best loot so geared players
• no scavs, only raiders (elite scavs basically)
• just to be able to get in you need a keycard which costs a couple hundred thousand
• you can't insure your gear in Labs
