SKS is good because 7.62x39 mm PS ammo is probably the best ammo you can buy with level 1 traders. You have to go for headshots with the gun

Being able to reload in a reasonable amount of time and shoot fast while remaining decently accurate is amazing

Here's the build i used. you can get it all w level 1 traders but the handguard is a trade for EWS (water ration)
