Can anybody give me a hand with a technical problem? Recently started playing the game, and over the last few days I've begun to encounter a "Critical Backend Error" issue at the end of raids (scav and PMC). After transferring my loot to my stash, I'll get a "critical backend error" window pop-up and all of my loot will disappear from that run. It has happened about 8 of 10 runs so far.... making the game impossible to play. I have uninstalled and reinstalled, cleared cache before launch, check game integrity files, disabled firewall ... but the problem persists. Any ideas? I have scoured the forums and nobody seems to have found a fix.

@languid veldt There is a penalty. If you accept it and fail to complete it the next quest will be easier and give worse rewards.

This can keep going like a spiral. If you fail quests over and over again they’ll get progressively easier and give less XP and rewards.

Works both ways. The more you complete the harder they get and more rewards.

@zinc canopy I've watched numerous videos for beginners for the lack of experience I started familiarizing myself with the woods map in the offline mode. Except for Shturman I generally don't have a problem. Figured out the inventory system. I can get a few kills with my pmc but never make it out alive. What mechanic of the game would you suggest learning to be able to extract as a pmc sometimes? Learn how to "rat" around?

Unfortunately not. I just started also. There’s pretty good map systems online, to be honest the best way it identifying land marks and then trying to relate it to the map you’re looking at. At the end of the day it’s just experience. I would also use the edge of the map to your advantage when needed to help you find where you are. That’s a strategy I’ve been using.

I will say - I went with what a lot of people suggest, and got the best package for tarkov. I don’t regret it, It gives me a load of basic loot and a large stash. I’m just not sure what is really the best to keep and sell when it comes to my starting loot.

I recommend searching the item up on Tarkov-Market.com, and going with the trader Price (unless it’s some insane Price on Flea). That’s the best way to learn the value of every items
