Yoooo weapon mastery is actually amazing. Wish i knew about this sooner

It doesnt reduce recoil exactly, but it reduces camera shake or visual recoil when firing. Which means the gun still bounces but your eyes stay lined up with the sights way easier

Very few 9x19 rounds are good. I would recommend checking a ammo chart when you wanna know how a round performs. you can find a ballistics chart on the wiki https://escapefromtarkov.fandom.com/wiki/Ballistics
The general rule of thumb for if a round is even worth using is if it can pen lvl 3 instantly or not (not under 30 pen) preferably you want it to be higher but still.
There is a exception to this and that is if the round works as a leg meta round which means it has really high flesh like 9x19 quakemaker. This means that you can kill someone by just shooting them in the legs but keep in mind that these rounds don’t do almost anything to armor

I recommend playing scav too! Offline is a great idea to learn the map and game mechanics, but scav buts you into a real game with nothing to lose. It also helps you learn the scav exfils.
