That is true as far as I know there is no DLC so far I have the top tier edition and theres nothing i can play that my friend with standard cant as well after purchasing standard you would pay the same price for any other version so take the top tier price and remove the standard price and that will be your upgrade cost

Essentially if you are interested in the game but arent sure about shelling out the money for the top tier you can do that and face less risk in the case of you not liking the game
