I started this wipe very late, so I was stuck in the same situation. You can't stomp around when most of the players are running juicer kits, so just play it safer and slower. On plus side, running guns like SKS makes them come back from insurance quite often.
Makes good practice for early wipe too, since you'll go back to square one regardless.

Lately yeah, my first 1000 are from the first 2 months of wipe. After that I got burned out, now I just chill and try to do my remaining quests. I mainly play solo, SBiH and the Guide are done, I have epsilon, now it's just getting lv 62 and doing the remaining quests. Mostly bosses and raiders.
