Hi all I got escape from tarkov about 3 days ago. Been playing customs on offline mode and a bit of online mode to learn the extraction points, skav spawns and different loot. Also have my laptop on the side to refer to interactive map. Sometimes still get a bit lost as to where I am on the map and find it hard to remember enemy spawns and loot locations from memory, usually have to refer to the map : / just a bit daunting and anyone have advise as to how I don't feel so overwhelmed?

I think what is meant by "don't tell a newb to hachet run" is that no newb is going to get any benefit of modeling their play style after yours as you M-2 skills are far superior to everyone else's. It would be best to ASSIST a player who is BEGINNING in here by taking them into a raid, or guiding them to a sherpa for help to learn... instead of saying "go run naked to learn" when that's only one facet of the game.

It is far better to be friendly and helpful in a community like this so that the game grows instead of just trying to stock the pond with nakeds to shoot so you can get more loot.
