You also need to find a kit to use. Unless you absolutely have to - you should find a cheap AK build, or SKS or whatever suites your budget and style... build the gun, run it over and over. It'll greatly help your game play.

Otherwise, if you use scav guns with low durability .. you won't be able to hit shots reliably because the accuracy takes such a big hit. And if you continually swap between calibers and builds, you have to adjust your game play for each raid you run as the recoil is different for each gun and that handling with throw your shots off.
