that ammo type is nice because you can get it from lvl 1 prapor, and it's what i used for most of early wipe if i wasnt going for head eyes with pst gsh (which barely pens tier 2)
but i cant think of many other early game ammos that will pen tier 3 armor

I'm complete garbage at the game. Only way I made it to lvl 10 was constantly hiding and running w/o fighting and doing scav runs to replenish my inv when I constantly died.
IMO scav runs on customs get decent loot and you can easily find dead player PMCs in the construction areas that sometimes aren't looted.
Plus customs construction sites has crates can spawn the food needed for Jaeger quests and the Salewas for therapidt

Just get used to dying. I was the same, just take some things into the raid that you dont care much about and go for it! After a while its okay and its much more relaxing. Its not so hard to earn money in this game so it doesnt really matter if you loose some loot.

also always move from cover to cover, and always assume someone's there. Clear while keeping crosshair at head level, move crosshair to where you're focusing to reduce mouse movement on contact
