I have a question for any experienced players, lets say you're behind cover or something, lets say you're in a room in dorms for example. You're holding an angle down the hallway with a mosin. A guy comes up and you shoot him then duck behind cover when you peek back out hes just looking down the hallway towards you in the same position like an asshole not even getting into cover. What do you guys do?

I know it's oddly specific but I've realised that everytime I quickly try to peek out of cover to get a shot off I'm either too quick and miss or too slow and get shot because I'm literally already being aimed at
