Well, if they kill you, then they lose rep. Sometimes you're just going to get people who rampage about, there is little you can do about that when they get the jump on you sadly. Sticking to friendly AI scavs can be useful though

What I like to do is regularly announce my presence with voicelines, such that other player scavs have the opportunity to respond before we meet. It makes it a little easier to know if you have friendlies or foes around you. Sure, you expose yourself, but that's a trade off that I've found to be worth it.

if you're semi-competent at land navigation early wipe night raids aren't yet filled with thermals and are a good way to rat/quest

but yes i know where your coming from. if they dont like it they will leave or if they kill you in raid for being low level which ive seen before just report them to admins in the discord. There is plenty of people in this chat thats here to help new comers. There is a chat section dedicated to just that. Just sucks that most of the people sitting in those chats are afk taking up space
