Controller support would solve 80% of my issues really. I can handle Scavs only because i can plan for them. Any time i get charged by a player though, i’m basically f’d.

Lol it took some getting used to for me as well. They aren’t as detailed as i’d like, but I’m getting to the point now where i can at least recognize where i am most of the time. Grab a pistol, go to factory and try to catch people at the different spawns. Probably the easiest way to 'brute force' the quest

Scav runs is your friend to get some basic loadouts or some cash. It also progresses your scav rep (assuming you're friendly) which at higher rep will give you even better loadouts.
Other than that you can do cache/stash runs on interchange. Grab a big backpack/rig and grab as many as you can, avoid conflict where possible. This also works on shoreline, but shoreline's extracts are borked rn

Why am I so shit at this game haha. I just got laser beamed by a scav like 150ft away when I had the time to lineup a shot which was upper thorax/neck area, then landed 3 more shots after that. Meanwhile he just goes prone, stands up, turns and one shots me while I have armor. But this isn't a one time thing, this is a regular occurrence playing this. I know I shouldn't compare it to COD, but I've got a 2.0KD on Warzone and I'm great at other shooters. This is the only one that gives me problems in combat. I feel like I have to stand completely still to get any kind of accuracy, otherwise any little movements or strafing and my aim is all over the place it's weird. I just can't seem to get the hang of it.
