so the 3 kings of 12ga are ap20, magnum buck, and flechette. they're about equal, but they function wildly differently. ap20 is a thorax tapping machine that falls off against lvl 5 and 6 armor. flechette basically doesnt care about armor, 2 tapping class 1-3, and 3 tapping 4-6. you want to mag dump thorax with this round, if you can. mag buck is a flesh damage round that two taps legs
both mag buck and flech really require semi auto
pump action works for ap-20 and going face with buckshot

Broken limbs can be repaired with splints. Blacked (0hp) limbs require a surv12 or CMS kit to repair. there are two kinds of bleeds, light and heavy. light bleeds need a bandage, heavy bleeds need a tourniquet or hemostat. there are also items like car med, salewa, and ifaks that do multiple kind of fixes. There are secondary health issues that can impact you as well - starvation, dehydration, and contusion are all very common, and require additional steps to remediate
