my advice would be to stick to one map and learn the exfils for it. look up youtube videos of every exfil in the map and landmarkers so you can find your way around. and run offline games with no bots so you can really take your time and get a feel for the map

Well, it depends on what is your budget, what kind or runs you are trying to do. Usually try and figure out a kit that you can afford to buy a couple of times in case you don't survive for multiple runs

Oh, so really at the start. Focus on getting to level 10 for now, do whatever quests you can and as kits you can just use whatever you extract with as a scav from scav runs. Also try to learn the map Customs for starters
