theres a huge amount of variability in real life that all depends on things like the round you got hit with, weather or not its still in your leg and how much adrenaline you have. theres a reason a lot of people actually dont notice them getting shot because you wont register the pain immediately

One thing that has been on my mind since I watched a video on armor is that armors that cover more than the vitals actually are counter productive because non lethal hits will lower durability
I was thinking what if the areas armor covered had their own health like each limb does, because auxiliary armor should actually be a benefit and not a detriment
I was thinking it might make repairing more complex but so far my interpretation is that this game takes the approach depth = good and I like that philosophy and a lot of other fps games were too surface level for me to get really invested into
