I didn't think about Pistol only. I've been running what seems a fairly inexpensive kit.

AKS-74U or whatever it's called with maybe 2 extra mags, some basic medical gear, and the 6B2 armor, with whatever rigs I have lying around and an MBSS bag. But when you're only hovering around 550k, even that kit can get spendy.

Oustskirts is super safe and easy.

The other side has bunker or CCP open usually and those are pretty safe too. Bunker more so. Still though if you are going to die on woods it's going to be from doing something stupid in a field. Not going to extract.
