The wiki is a good resource. Look up things that can be used in the near term to upgrade your hideout (bolts/nuts/etc.). Anything you can’t or don’t want to use before you get access to flea market sell. For example, if you’re sitting on good guns just sell them. Without ammo access there really isn’t much point keeping them.

If you can’t use it in a quest without the next few levels or to upgrade the hideout it’s good to level up traders anyways 👍
