Try to get into the habit of thinking about where the nearest piece of hard cover is. This makes you able to get there faster is someone starts shooting at you

some advice that has made me successful, that alot of people dont do, i would say is - be patient, careful and listen. Pay attention to the timings of when things go down, first engagements, sounds of scav boss, how many people are fighting, what guns they have. Then rotate and start a route either intercepting or evading them

the next step is developing your map knowledge so that you can navigate thoughtlessly. after that, it's about locating the enemy with sound, and then pushing intelligently. using a grenade to break his ADS as you peek, then you repeek with a headshot.s tuff like that

there are times to play it slow and quiet and times to sprint and aggress. you have to mix those tools for the occasion

those are pretty tough maps when it comes to controlling an engagement and trying to do things your way. the pvp is much different than other maps -- try shoreline or reserve for some different pvp sometime when you are up to it.

with reserve most of your enegagements are in buildings. so you learn the map, you learn their position, then it is simple FPS CQB. unlike customs, where the angles are endless and variables are never the same

there are many smart fighting spots on interchange that i use to fight squads. upstairs flanks, the resteraunt hallways on 2nd floor, the changing rooms in the clothing stores, the desks in some of the shops are good to hide behind. run around them in offline and look for sneaky peeks and angles and it will help you alot. figure out routes and escapes. i have

my idea of a budget run: go to flea, buy sks/hunter/adar/sa58/akms below 14/28/21/50/21k roubles, sell to mechanic, do that for 20 mins and now you have enough money for a geared run
