What do you guys suggest in order to get better at the skirmish? I find I'm losing 80% of my fire-fights. I understand that the bullets you put in a gun matter and I am aware I'm not using the best ammo half the time - however what is the mindset when dealing with other players? How do you determine when to fight or flight? Where to hide? I'm talking tactics, not just the logistics of stats, ammo, and armor.

it's very situational. with ammo, some ammo's you might percieve as bad are just being used incorrectly, for instance SuperFormace slugs only have 2 penetration so you might think they are terrible, but they aren't meant to be shot at thorax's and heads

so leg meta and flesh damage is very important

with running, it is very hit and miss, usually once you're in a commited fight, it's difficult to run because they can just hear your footsteps

if you're running budget, like PS or PST in sub machine guns try not to take most fights

if you see someone, be slow and dont make sound

always take leftside cover when possible, strafe when you shoot, aim head if standing still, aim thorax if strafing and level up your skills ( strength and endurance is the most important) and get map knowledge
