honestly grind it out. theres a ton of learning that needs to be done but theres no magic bullet

the videos are key, map awareness is key, but you're gonna need to develop a feel for danger zones, audio cues, gunplay, healing

scav xp doesnt count towards your pmc

and scavs mostly cant do pmc quests

so basically all scavs are is a payday, which is great and helpful, but doesnt impact your pmc progression

you can take additional smoke granade or zarya and throw them at the beginning of each raid for instance

or couple of them

yes, there is a cap

long story short, once you start using a skill (press w for endurance/strength for instance) you will be getting full xp for a while, you can verify that inspecting your character/skills screen as the given skill should have a green arrow indicator by it; after that the arrow will be gone and you will get only a fraction of xp, and eventually you'll see red arrow meaning you no longer gaining xp for that skill
