desync isnt a huge issue... but playing in a group of higher leveled players decreases your learning of the game... youre busy playing follow the leader and not soaking in the maps at your own pace... you cant always play with someone, so learning the game solo teaches you more, but I definitely understand not enjoying the game as much solo
