Since you're new and struggling I recommend focusing on just getting out. Whether you're on PMC or Scav, immediately after spawning just focus on getting to extract. Loot whatever you walk past to get there, but don't bother trying to maximize your loot or hit hotspots. Just get in and get out.

Focus on one map to start with. I recommend Customs because a vast majority of the early game tasks are on Customs.

If you're struggling, focus on extracting. On both PMC and Scav. Once you spawn just immediately plan how you're going to get to extract. Don't worry about filling your bags or hitting hotspots. Just loot what you walk past on the way and get out.

On Customs there's loot pretty much everywhere you go to be honest. I highly recommend learning where all the stashes are because they're often unlooted and you can get lots of good stuff from them frequently.

I don't recommend trying to loot the dorms, especially in the early game. That's where most of the "Chads" go.

Never wear sunglasses because they have weird lighting glitches and make you easier to see, especially when you're in a dark place. The only eyewear you should ever use is the clear goggles. Everything else makes you easier to see

Here's another small tip. Very rarely sprint. Only use it when you need to like run accross an open field/road or something. Play slow for now and keep your ears open listening for people. Sprinting is WAY louder than walking, so you'll hear chads sprinting in your direction long before they hear you.

You can buy/trade for them from Therapist as well but as soon as you hit 10, start buying Grizzly's for like 35k - you should be able to get 4-5 full heals out of them, or lots of little heals 😄
