It's very hard to play as a solo in this game. You're going to have to learn to give up a lot of loot/bodies/spots to stay alive. You'll also have to spend way more time holding angles/corners and waiting than you would in a group. Group vs solo are polar opposite playstyles. Unless your Landmark of course.

Your main extract(s) will usually be on the opposite side of the map. Once you get a certain amount of xp or after 10mins into the raid you can extract without a run through. You can extract from your main extract at any point, but certain ones need certain conditions (van needs to be there for dorms v-ex extract, zb-013 power needs to be on and you need a factory key.)

It's advised to look up some maps/videos, maybe even try them offline, as in-game you won't really be given any directions. They are all predetermined and don't change, but different ones may be active depending on what side of a map you spawn on

Hardest part of this game isn't the PvP or PvE, it's learning the controls/UI/gameplay/looting, literally everything except shooting lmao.

When you douple press O (by default I think), all the extract locations you can use will be listed there by name. The ones with a ??? next to them may or may not be open, or may need a condition. If no questionmarks, it should be always good. Gotta look into them for each map. It's easier to pick one or two maps and get to know them a little before hopping around map to map. Knowing extracts is one of the first steps to getting accommodated to a new map

If you can have a map open on phone/second monitor, anywhere at the beginning, it may help a lot

i would have to reevaluate barters since moonshine went up, but back when i was buying my cases thicc weapons case was 7m on flea, while barter for thicc items case was 11m

given items case has twice the side and offers you an extra flexibility it was no brainer, but again, you would have to reevaluate barter cost

not really, most jump scares, if not all of them, comes from gear fear, fear that you will lose sth valuable and you won't be able to restock for another raid
