So, typical situation here. I find myself with little to no money, little to no gear, every scav run I try to just bolt to an exit to get SOME gear and I get one tapped from a million miles away, and every PMC run I do I get nailed by either a one tap from a player whos about 90 ranks over me, or I peek a scav who goes John Wick and one taps my head. I'm at a loss on how to do anything to get on my feet. Only rank 5 or 6 right now. >_<

once you get lvl 10 you unlock flea market and making money becomes easier - i'd recommend focusing on one map for scaving to get some easy gear together - factory can be nice since its fast and close to extract but customs is nice so you learn it for upcoming tasks

its really rough at the start though, try keeping a map open as you load in and look at all other spawns around you
offline mode raids are underrated for practice too, either without scavs for learning the map or you can put them to horde amount to get used to fighting

I've tried that, Cat. X_X My scav runs end in me dying almost right away in factory as do any PMC run I try. Hell. I just had one where I went full auto on a guys back at near point blank and he just turns and one pops me with a pistol in the head when I had a helmet.

and see what he does :P but its mostly about knowing the maps, the timing of where people are when
and what you can afford to use when, and why you should or shouldn't
then you just gotta get lucky in raid as well as hit your headshots :P

Because of the negated effects also idk how it impacts recoil certainly you won't get sent to cover when you're shot at from where you don't expect it. So be cautious.

Keep 2-3 gearsets max. Keep things needed in the next 10 levels for tasks and sell anything else.
Excluding maybe kappa items. Everything you can get again.
Armor rigs are also nice. They can act as a pseudo case for keys, meds, weapon mods, etc.

Tried as scav and PMC. Doesn’t matter, I get popped every time I try. Tried twice this morning, once as scav and once as PMC and got killed both times. I don’t even try and loot anything, it’s literally just running to the quest and trying to extract.
I would say four PMC runs and I’ve only gotten my stuff back once. It’s all basic items too as I’m only level 3 lol.
