BSG usually always wipes the game when they need to test and introduce new features. The 0.12 wipe introduced the Hideout, and a new map, while the 0.12.6 wipe introduced the new FIR mechanics for tasks + the flea market. I think this wipe (0.12.9) is an exception because there wasn't really any new game changing content.

I've done customs and woods so far, been playing a day. I tried factory just now as a scav and got one tapped 20 seconds after loading in
