also people use the insane headphones that pick up alot and know every inch of the map so if they hear a single step in water, they know exactly where it is and bull rush it. from my experience sneak when you hear stuff nearby but then when you hear them pausing alot like they are trying to track you down start moving fast. At that point they know you are there and trying to get eyes on you. If you move slow out of cover you will most likely die
