Pick a map, ( I recommend customs to start with becuase a lot of the beginnning quests are on that map) and spawn in an offline raid. Look at your exits and go straight to it. rreapeat this until you can make it to an exit without looking at the map. It will help you so much.
you will be much more likely to spot players or scavs if you arnt so distracted with figuring out where you are

there are two issues - map knowledge and overall game mechanics
if you're dying within first minute of your raid it means you're rushing head first into other players, most probably because you don't know where other spawns are and where to expect them
to fix that you can watch streamers play and learn the basic flow of your preferred map
surprisingly, the flow on most maps is extremely static and repeatable and once you get it you should be able to predict where and when you can be in danger and when you can lower your guard
for instance, on customs the spawn at railroad to tarkov will most likely rush to crack house (or, if they're cheeky they will wait for a moment to ambush people who spawned at the trailer park), while railroad to port and both sides of railroad to military will rush to dorms and spawns around usec will be occupied with, you guessed it, usec
as for the other part, just pick the map you know and feel comfortable with, and if there's no such map for you yet, just stick to customs, and play it in offline mode while setting scav amount to horde and selecting "tag and cursed" option
this will give you opportunity to learn the game mechanics and gun play with no penalties, as you won't lose anything dying in an offline raid, everything will be reset to the state from before the raid
bring your usual gear, plenty of ammo and healing and keep practicing
