reason being - it's extremely hard to extract from reserve compared to other maps

the key here is consistency, while some people will argue that you can make much more money on shoreline or reserve it is also much harder to survive on these maps, and while customs doesn't have ledx spawns it offers very decent loot in usec/stronghold/crackhouse and if you avoid hot spots it's easy to survive and make a lot of profit

Idk what the most optimal things to do are but doing quests helps ypu get a grip with most maps. Eg I learn customs and factory cos of prapor, some woods for mechanic and interchange for loot (cache runs). On standard you prob want to get to lvl 10 quick to upgrade stash size

also two things to keep in mind when you start the game - tasks and upgrading your hideout is extremely important, should be your priority number one since it offers you two things, a source of passive income which can yield you up to couple mils a day, and an access to weapons and ammunition basically for free from vendors

When you reach a comfortable level at some point, you can do a full raid without drinking and eating. Of course with stomach being intact. So eat and drink, get that skill level up 🙂

Take a pistol and make sure you stay in cover. the wood raids are 45min long so to avoid run through stay for over 7 min

To be honest, quite a lot of the population of tarkov know how to play the game now, so one month is a LOT of time

You'll get there, just keep going at it, maybe try and find yourself a partner or something :D that should help with the being outgeared. That way you're only outgeared but not outgunned! :P

I am not a complete beginner, but i got frustrated and stopped playing a while ago. The reason was because I did not understand the shooting system. I played games like R6 and COD before this. Therefore the bullets went to the cross hair, but this is obviously not the case for Tarkov. I would like an experienced player to explain how the guns work in this game more in depth then I currently know.

That's pretty much it? The gun play isn't that hard to grasp, you can't fully auto spam a gun with super shitty recoil because it'll go all over the place

Recoil needs to be reasonable, I'd say 50-70 for most autos

Even lower is even better I guess for spraying with ADS

Well tarkov doesn't have a crosshair, you need a laser to help you aim straighter(idk how infrared lasers help but ye lol)

Crosshairs are the wires that are lined up when a shooter is aiming a gun. Crosshairs, also spelled as two words, cross hairs, is another term for a reticle, the series of lines in an optical piece used to bring an image into focus.

Guns with shit recoil have bullet spray that goes everywhere, the lower the recoil, generally the tighter the hip fire. If you put a laser on, your gun pretty much becomes a laser and then it's just a case of keeping an enemy in the center of your screen for tippytaps

Well it applies to non hipfire too

The lower the recoil, the less the reticle bounces, the tighter the bullet grouping. Guns will always kick up the first few bullets then either sort themselves out or you'll need to compensate up/down a bit

In a way, the kick is almost the same as R6S if that helps you lol you just need lower recoil on a weapon to get to that stage
