There are a few key spots to check, it's hard if you aren't sure of spawns though

2x3 (Beta, sold from Peacekeeper for Barter or an edition upgrade)
2x4 (Epsilon, Prapor Quest, Punisher)
3x3, (Gamma, EoD only)
3x4 (Kappa, after doing the Collector Quest, which requires nearly all quests to be done.)

Doesnt guarantee any though. Especially as Scav tend to spawn only if noone is around (usually) or after PMCs have left their spawn AND only after short delay after the map start.

Scav spawns are weird.
I had games with not a single one and others with big groups at once.

Personally I dont think the Beta is worth it.
Epsilon is 'easy' to get.
But thats me who doesnt do loot runs much at all so far, so my money isnt on an amount at all times where I can buy anything all the time.

hey guys, kinda new into tarkov, just reached level 10 and im struggling with guns, currently i am usually running a vepr km with silencer and a 4x scope, i've seen a lot of people recommending adar, but afaik modding the adar is more expensive, and bullets are worse, is there something i am missing?

the rounds are whatever you put in there. you can have a 300k into your gun but if you put poop ammo into it youre gonna have a bad time

'Bullets are worse' depends.
If you go by just traders, 762 PS and 556 855 is similar enough

But if you got the gift with loads of BP for 762 thats better of course.
In the end, try the guns at least, cause they feel different.

Like I just said 762 PS and 556 855 is pretty much the same (32 pen vs 30 pen)

And while class 6 isnt as common, there is still class 4 and 5 which both cant pen properly and are quite common.
Especially class 4 which is the most commonly used armor class

BP is 47 pen 🙂 Pretty decent. Best in class. Good enough for most things @solid steppe
Then 556 of course is a bit worse, as its better ammo is quite expensive

@tall crest best way to lvl 10 is a mixture of quests and extracting.

Woods (avoid lumbercamp), shoreline (avoid resort) Interchange (avoid the center high value tech shops) are all great money makers where you can get xp killing scavs and can generally avoid fighting the most geared players.

Reserve is apparently good but I dont know that map yet.

Your best bet is to watch a youtube map and hidden stash guide (Pestily has great vids on each map for example) so you can get your bearings and know how to extract.

Just focus on grabbing some loot and extracting alive, you will hit lvl10 in no time.

Study the maps, just run around a lot. I do a lot of pistol runs, taking out scavs and learning scav spawns for a map and then find the loot/caches

Though honestly, I think the more you play 'for real', the better.

You'll also have good days and bad days. It's usually good to take a break if you're having a bad day, though sometimes Tarkov rewards persistence...

What I’m doing is staying on one map (customs) do a few offline raids to get used to it, then start playing on it as a scav, don’t try and kill, just exit with the gear you spawn with.

if you wanna practise gunfights then you might wanna just play factory cause there is alot quick pvp

well there is a lot equipment and items in the game so its hard to tell you what to keep

good rule for beginners is not to play with the big guys

try to go for less contested areas etc.

for example on shoreline you might wanna avoid the resort in the middle

Hey, all new people, i just want to come with a little PSA/very good advice, make sure to check the listing fee on items when selling on the flea. Especially now in the early wipe there are a lot of items that are disproportionatly priced because of hideout/quests, where you will make next to no money or even loose money because of the listing fee

I see way too many items that are listed at 100k, but cost 150k in listing fee cause the pricing is so skewed
