A good thing to keep in mind when new is that your gun doesnt win you fights. How you play and understanding what you can do with your kit is more important. I drop dudes with the cheap sks all the time because I know how to approach fights when I have one. Dont get caught up in thinking gear = win.

if you have access to level 2 traders which you most likely do by 26 I suggest either running a cheap adar setup or an ak-74 build. I wont get in depth on those but both have reasonable build just from trader items and will get you kills assuming you dont use the crappier ammo.

so you should look into whats needed for the early hideout stuff and keep those for now. Also there are a few quests early on that are item driven. Look at those and consider keeping those items as well. If its something way down the road you are likely to find those items again but it can suck when you realize you sold 5 of something and the next quest you get needs those.

the wiki is a great source of information on what you need for those. there is a image that breaks down the exact items for everything at once glance.

@viscid helm All I know about inv management is that if you want to sell shotguns, go to jaeger. I sell all my other guns to mechanic. And only keep things that you either have a hard time getting, you know you'll need in the future, or you plan to actively use. I sell off everything else. If I don't know what something does, I wiki it. It tells me if it's ever needed for a future quest.

maybe keep the suppressors but the keder and sawn off mosin arent really worth it. keep those keys for sure and the toolkit, zibbo and tushonka unless you are past those quest you need them for. keep the skull too maybe just incase you get stuff for the trades later but the veritas pick you cuold vendor since you wont need it until very very late game

customs has some good technical boxes that will get you a gas an. Map genie has some great maps that you can filter to look for specific loot types and will help you not get lost. For gas an you want technical and eletronic spawns

PC block/toolbox will get you them. The wiki has what every item is categorized as and then each object that you can loot has a table that pulls from that category. If you want full lists of where items can spawn in look it up on the wiki and it will tell you exactly what to search through for a chance.

@bold kernel I ensure most items since you never know what comes back. but as far as backpacks go I mostly run ScavBPs or one of the other similar ones and they almost always come back. Its cheap to buy a new one too.

I think AMD has there own dashboard type thing but I cant help you there; I can tell you from evidence experienced from me and numerous people with Nvidia cards when we Enable V-Sync in the Nvidia Graphics cards settings for Tarkov Not GLOBAL then disable it in game; your grames go above 60+ meaning unlocked

I see. Well, for customs you have a lot of dorm keys, the office key, the marked room key. I recommend you look them up and see what items you can get and see if it's worth it to you.

I’m kinda new and i have 2 questions if anyone can help I would highly appreciate it!

  1. I have a mission from Prapor to kill 5 scavs in custom. I have already done this while i was playing a scav game and it didnt work. So do I have to kill 5 scavs as a pmc??

  2. I’m trying to find a file of intelligence and I have been checking multiple spawns at reserve with no luck.. I even went in offline mode and visted more than 10 spawns (i did this twice) with absolutely zero luck... So can someone help me with a good source of spawns or tell me the best way to find them!
