Safe? yeah. You may lose out on big money though if you sell something that is worth way more on the flea. There are sites that track tarkov flea prices so you can google for that to check. It's a lot of work to min/max it.

@gritty lichen Complete the Prapor quest in woods for the Convoy and USEC camp and you get a Compass as a reward..that should help with your bearings issue.
Of course I say that with some jest because it's in the Wood.
Your also looking at an old Map version if there is only 1 lake.
Shoreline is fairly easy to learn..not so easy to play on.

If you have a pistol, they have armor and a helmet and you can't see their face then you probably need to fight someone else. You need to hit head to kill them because legging someone with a PM pistol and shitty ammo just isn't happening regularly.
Find a scav to face tap and get something meatier.

I need some help on getting good, so every time when I go into a raid with like only a pistol and a small tactical vest and a medium backpack, I get like a crap ton of loot and I dont see anyone except for the occasional scav for the whole game and then I extract, but as soon as i gear myself up a little bit more and equip bigger guns, there is some level 50 mf around every corner, even if I go the exact same rout, when i am barely equipped there is no one and when i am equipped i keep dying
And it's not like I cant win gunfights, i can win most of my gunfight, but most of the time I get snipped and insta killed even if I am running and using the serpentine tactic

Headset... well, about most lvl 4 helmet with FS can have headsets still
If you insist on a faceshield, you should either take an altyn and just not take headset, or 'exfil + shield' as thats the best, but also expensive.

@flat temple, don't farm it. You don't need it and the tri-zip is a pretty underwhelming reward with how many bigger backpacks there are now.
Over some period of time, you'll do stash runs/eco runs and get kills when you have better pistols to do that with.

Best way to do it mate, is go onto factory with some basic armour and just sit and wait for someone else doing the same quest runs past you. Fairly easy

And you can play on basically all servers, there will just be some connection hickups on some
