If you are trying to kill the scavs I would find a bush and read/watch something for 20-25 minutes then hit construction and military checkpoint. Scavs respawn and PMCs leave so it is easier and safer. If you need shotguns grind out your scavs.

thanks! the difficulty rn is i only have a single pistol and an aks left and i die multiple times before my scav timer is done, also sitting in a bush for 25 mins sounds like possibly the most boring thing to do, is there no other way for a new player to become accustomed other than bush camping n stuff

Play offline with scavs on set to "as online" to get accustomed to the map and fighting scavs. You won't get the quest done that way but you will get better at fighting scavs, learning their spawns and when they respawn. The camping is just to wait for the geared boys to leave so you are less likely to run into a PMC rocking a million ruble kit farming the boss and marked.

aye i've been doing offline raids, the scavs arent usually the problem more so that i dont know the exact spawns of every player in the game and dont know what guns sound like or get confused hearing shit. And yeah i get that i just cant see myself improving at all rn and its frustrating and with not having anyone to like help out in raid its tough. Understandably i know others went through this too but its just tough man v disheartening

The game has skills/stats and the more you play/do with your PMC the better/further he can run/throw/shoot etc
It is especially punishing for new players who run the slowest; least distance and have the worst recoil

The other rounds are flesh rounds. They should work fine. If your looking to dominate PvP then your going to need Armour penetrating rounds to start.

if youre in desperate need of ammo i would recommend going on customs and looting fort (if youre not sure where that is pull up a interactive map) as bt, bp and bs spawn there, a general rule of thumb bt,bp and bs tend to be good rounds for many weapons.

I think its common issue taking 20min+ to sort through a raids loot and tetris everything successfully.
a familiar feeling of shifting the same 4 things, six times because you know you can fit that last 3x2 somewhere, but you just gotta find the right combination

Suggest having a map up on another screen or phone, aswell as offline raids to learn landmarks etc

One good thing I did was I learnt where dorms was
once you learn where dorms is in relation to most places you can navigate to where you need to be, extracts id just refer to a map on your phone or other screen
