so I got the game today and have yet to be able to play a game, first I kept loading and then getting disconnected at loading map, then after 20 minutes of trying to fix this now loading loot crashes my game, after that when I thought I got past it loading loot and loot pools took about 20-25 minutes, while my pmc is in game. finally after 3 more crashes on top of the 20 minute wait time I made it in game just to get kicked. I'm loading into a game now and I hope it starts but I'm at 15 minutes. Does it usually take this long? How can I fix this?

@bold kernel You also need to satisfy one of these two requirements:
- 500xp or 1000xp (someone correct me if they have the correct amount) required to enable the Found-In-Raid tag on the items you found
- 10 minutes in the raid from the point you started is the earliest you can extract
So if you found the GFX cards and rushed to an exit without killing + looting a certain amount of things; you may have fallen short on the experience point/time requirement

how do the damage mecanics work? I just shot at a guy without armor 2 times from 5m away with a mosin with expensive ammo ( 700 rouble/bullet ) and he took 134 damage in total. how is he not death? can you have more then 100 HP?

So if you shoot him in the arm it will damage the arm you shot

pre-level 10 you should focus on doing quests and getting xp, money will come with unlocking the flea market
always use your scav runs when they're up for free gear
as well as free money basically
they're also good for learning maps
so pretty much just use your scav runs to fund your PMC quest runs

If you are looking directly at the wall mountain head all the way to the right (west) until you see wall again. head north from there you will find the plane

Scav until you are level 10. upgrade you bunker for intelligence center1 so quests give you more money. Start your initial questlines. prapor, therapist,....skier(i think)
they arent hard to do. but they will boost your xp quickly and I think with intelligence center 1 it will offer you something like 5%more

Not that I really recommend this, but if you are hitting a brick wall you can always join a factory 5 man.
There won't be any PMCs outside of your team mates and you can get some xp through minor looting / scav killing until you are more comfortable with the game.

Go to customs as your PMC and get the first few quests done. Practice killing scavs and try to get out with that gear. Bring at least the ssh-68 (penis helmet) and a paca vest to protect from scavs (avoid players, this armor doesn't provide much protection against them). Use whatever gun you can get your hands on, but I like shotguns at lower levels cause you get them back from insurance almost every time. For ammo, avoid any slugs (they're almost all pretty worthless until you unlock AP-20 a lot later). 7mm buckshot is good.

Still lacks behind SPP / 7N12, but the the cost it's definitely worth it
Typically it'll do the job on most targets. You may start running into issues if they are wearing C6
Ultimately though it has 870 damage w/ 43 pen during a 1 second burst(15 bullets). That's enough to kill most people if you can land some of those bullets.

For all you new guys, when you die over and over again, realize it is NORMAL and everyone goes through this. Tarkov is a very cut throat game that does not care about you (which is why it’s fun). The pros get shit on in this game. Also, remember, the majority of this game is knowledge and SOUND!

@spare forge scav run til you get lucky. spawn in and wait until maybe 5 minutes left and sprint around the map looking for bodies, get what you can, and get out. sell the stuff to traders, until you get enough money for a small kit. then do the same as a pmc. its what people refer to being a rat because youre scrounging for remains and playing it safe by hiding

@ember pendant yeah somehow I did but I don't know how o.O I went to come out of blue shipping container and he shot me in thorax but my armor saved me, but when I looked at kill report at end it said I headshot him... I was pre-aiming, must have shot a reflexive shot and got super lucky
the one guy had TTV in his name so I added him to see if they clipped it
