If you are level 10 or higher you will have access to the flea market and can purchase any weapon you like, given you have enough money. Otherwise check with the vendors and see what's available there. I believe even at LL1, Prapor sells the AKS-74U for example.

level 4 armor is about the bare minimum you can expect to protect you against players
Occassionally scavs wil have level 4 armor, but mostly level -3

Odd question about that then. Hideout Management + lvl 3 intel reduces the return timer. So would that technically reduce the amount of time that someone would have to pick up stuff?

you go in there knowing youre going to fight... every other map you can avoid fights, not on factory
If you're low level, then scaving on factory isnt terrible, bc you can farm scavs and take out 2 or 3 kits for your next PMC raids... but as a PMC you're going to get into PMC PvP 90% of the time @bold kernel

I don’t believe samples is needed for kappa since it was added with sanitar to get peacekeeper quests you need to do friend from the west

Ah that's more to prevent RMT. If you overprice an item a certain amount the market fee will be really high. That's how they prevent someone listing a battery for 100 mil and transferring money.
Since therapist sells emilia for 13k they have a set price. Deviating from that is going to result in a pretty high market fee.

I had the same thing when starting. By trying to be sneaky you're probably just lingering in high risk areas without realising
One thing you can do to improve your chance at survival is run a little way away from spawn and go prone in a bush or something for the first 5-10 mins.
Its kind of boring but it means all the other players who probably know the other spawn locations and roughly where the other players will be based on the time in raid, won't guess where you are. Once you leave your hidey hole the other players will be further ahead of you and you're less likely to run into them

Recoil control is just shooting your gun. So, take a crappy gun. Blast it in a corner then go on about the raid since your exp drops off.
As for strength most people buy like a bunch of cheap shotgun ammo then stuff it in a backpack.
Another way that is safer rather than buying shotgun bullets all the time is documents cases with sas drives.
Very costly though
Requires 3 documents cases filled with them if you want to just want to run naked
2 if you have some extra gear to weigh you down like armor and a gun.

and is there any way for me to tell when ive killed an actual player scav? or you just guess by what theyve picked up?

They might've patched it out but you should be able to see if they have a "pouch" slot to see if they're a player scav.
I haven't encountered a player scav lately so I wouldn't know if they changed anything.

its just one of them was acting sus and hiding in the bushes and he caught 3 rounds to the thorax lol
and another thing ive noticed is player scavs running around the maps killing all the other scavs
