@granite apex Shooting in the head is a matter of dead center in the face, not the side nor the top because there is ricochet chance. Legs is whether you are running leg meta ammo

@granite apex Ok so you "one tapping them" to the head could be just you being unlucky and it ricocheting but if you unload a mag full of leg round metas into their legs, they should be dead no matter what so maybe you're missing more than you think you are

@potent lance Just get like a hunter, 4x pso scope and 10 round mags and to the right side of the map. Tons of open fields where you can shoot scavs

I just bought the dollars and then used the cash to buy whatever I need from him for gunsmith or for weapons and so on as I need them. Those dollars I then spend end up going towards the next level of rep, further bumping my exchange with him. You can get near two rep levels worth with only the 1.3 mil roubles.

@unborn torrent If you're referring to knowing the map, you'll really just have to play and grind out 1 or 2 maps. There are online 3d maps for free that can help you with a map but just go one map over and over again until you get it. I started with customs, then learned reserve for rat running. My first wipe, 1 month and I already no maps by heart

Depends on where you are taking the engagements though. If you are looking at 30+ meters, AP-20 is your best bet still.

So if you are planning on going to shoreline and get scav headshots for example, the AP-20 slug is king. If for some reason you wanted to corner camp labs then a flechette would probably handle the job more consistently .

Well scavs usually spawn in when someone extracts or dies so if you aren't getting in the server, either their are too many rats waiting for found in raid items, not enough fighting or the servers are fked

This game gets me salty af, since I started playing again mid wipe I have been mowed down by pmc's with silenced m4's every single fucking raid. Whats the point even of wearing level 4 armor when I get fatally shot in the thorax before I can fire my first round. Out of the 10 raids I've played I havent extracted a single time

Lvl 4 armor will only protect you versus scavs at this point in a wipe.

Most players will have bullets that go right through it. I suggest either avoiding pvp until afford similar setups OR play a lot slower.

Just get use to losing c4 armor. It's alright but it won't just let your out gear someone to death hardly ever.

Yeah I bring in minimal gear, try to just loot and leave. Tried waiting out the first 10 minutes of the raid too. But I guess at this point everything that can be said has been said. Maybe it's just poor luck some of the times. Thanks for the advice either way.

Scavs i have no issues with, scav runs I'm doing fine with too. Had a 600k scav run on customs lately. But for some reason I just have very poor luck with avoiding pvp when I'm playing with my main character
