Hey guys! So back as a scav before I hit level 10, I got a graphics card and a tetriz. Now I hit level 10 and I can't sell them on the flea market because it was "not found in raid". Is this something new?

Flea market now has a requirement for items must be found in raid to sell, was added here in 12.6. To get the found in raid status on items, you must either stay in raid for at least 10 min, or gather minimum 600 xp. Surviving is also a must, so putting stuff in containers and dying won't work

I've played tarkov off and on for many years now. I barely played last patch, and I decided now with a new wipe ill come and get back into it. So I started off yesterday and its been a really rough roller-coaster 😂 I managed to get a shoreline key so I have been farming that and shoreline in general for money, however I always find myself in situations against armored and way better geared players on every map I play. For example, my last raid on shoreline I was running outside of dorms and got 1 tapped from who knows where, didn't even hear the shot. The raid before, I got into a cqb battle in dorms, but the lad had decent armor and stopped all of my trash mp5 pso rounds. Customs and woods have been the same, constantly outmatched in armor and weapons/attachments.
So my biggest questions are
A) What is the best approach for leveling up to at least level 10 for the flea market, or until I get a high enough level for better traders (currently only level 4 with all level 1 traders)
B) I find myself looting and hiding when I know I'm out matched. Should I just risk every battle to learn? Or should I continue to play cautiously if I know i’m at a disadvantage
C) What's the best map to play starting out to learn the game? I’ve played off and on for years so I understand major aspects of the game, I just lack on PvP and PvE skill and lack of map knowledge on reserve and interchange since its been so long since i’ve played.
D) Any other advice would be greatly appreciated. Feel free to PM!

Basically, if you're truly new to Tarkov, you really want to learn the maps as well as you can
Because knowing the maps and how they flow is 100% the most important thing to staying alive and getting rich

One last note; pick your engagement timings. If you have the drop on someone, take your time to check if they're with someone, and if you know they're going to loot something, wait until they do that before you drop them
Someone with one hand in a container is 500% easier to execute than some dude who can just hit sprint and zigzag the instant you miss 1 bullet
Hitting a person that's aware they are being targeted is fucking difficult as shit in Tarkov, unless they're so close that you are at risk of being noticed and shot as well
So making the initial shot/s count is super mega important

@mellow stump Always move with intent; Try to avoid randomly meandering in areas where you might not be sure where the nearest cover is, or where the sightlines might be. Sprint across large open areas, but don't sprint near buildings, rocks or inclines. If someone's on a hill going the same way as you and you sprint up to it, they will hear you and turn to shoot you as your head comes across the top
And in general if you think you're being watched, never stop moving. And on the other hand if you think you haven't been seen, try to not move. Sometimes it's also better to be in front of something of similar color or texture as your kit/outfit, than behind something with a head popping out. Oftentimes people will scan for movement and shapes, so silhouetting yourself in a window or on a roof is usually a worse idea than hiding somewhere a bit less obvious
Like for example, if you're in Woods its better to be in a bush than by a tree, because people will notice your person figure sticking out of a normally straight tree
And when moving, try to keep your back to a wall so you only need to watch two directions. If you gotta move across the open, check behind you as well; If someone is coming up, even if they can't see you now they will once they're where you are now and when you're out in the open with no cover
And I think the least obvious from movement or positioning tips; If someone goes past you without seeing you, their mind will usually check that place as not having anyone there. Say you're in a corner or something and a group runs past you and doesn't see you; If you set up an ambush from there, it will be the last place they look because "I just checked there"
And people also often don't look up. High-up places are amazing when indoors (so you don't skyline yourself on top of crests or rocks)

The map is built in a way so that you're not meant to go in the garage unless forced to, but also a lot of the ways into the interchange itself are ramps with no cover. So there are really only 2 or 3 real entrances to the actual store. Should you rush these entrances or wait until later in the raid?

unless your pistol/rat running loot then waiting a sec outside can stop you from getting sniped by people that watch that shit or you can watch for a sec and try to kill someone
