My bindings are mouse 3 and 4 for changing optics, scroll wheel for zero, alt for free look, shift for run, shift for hold breath as well. Everything else is normal. Binding s are always preference. I use a shit ton of variable scopes and snipe a lot so its ease of access for how I have it set up for that.

Only way to get experience is to play

You can swap parts in and out at will and the parts do not need to be in stash to use this feature as this is a “virtual build.” If you like what you made you can “save” it with a custom name and it will allow you to buy all the parts with the Assemble puzzle piece. Use cog wheel in buy parts section to determine if you only buy from traders or include flea offers.

So i just experienced something weird. I was on woods and i fought a team of 2, at the end of the fight, i managed god know why to kill them with my mosin so now i randomly kept getting hit but the hit wasnt like your normal hit, there was no gun shot at all, the fight was next to the big lake so i am guessing a guy was shooting me from the other side of the map but what i want to know for the future is it possible that a player could do that from the other side of the lake ? I am guessing with a suppressor and a good scope even though it was foggy as hell

@pliant owl First thing to do is RESET EXPECTATIONS. Doesn’t matter how much or how well you do in other shooters. This is a knowledge game. You will die and die due to lack of experience not gear. Experience. It will require persistence and commitment. You need to learn maps, scav behavior, PMC behavior, what is good vs. bad ammo. Practice OFFLINE mode, with scavs on, at Customs. Try to make it from spawn to exit 10 times. IF you can do this 50% of the time then you are ready for online. Meanwhile use your scav at Interchange to get loot and learn the map.

I've been just running customs trying to finish the first prapor task and checking the various med spawn locations for Salewas. I'm level 3 and my money is all coming from scav runs so far which I've been using to explore the map more and memorize extracts and loot spots. I've been saving the knives because it seems they can be used for some trades, but not something I go out of my way to grab as pure rouble value for most other items will greatly outweigh the 2.6k the knives generally sell for. So stockpile the ones your scav runs give you, and trade them when you get enough. At least how I've been handling it
